Renowned as a dayan, posek and lecturer, for nearly twenty years Rabbi Berkowitz has served as a spiritual leader of the English-speaking community of Jerusalem. Due to his close personal relationship with the Roshei Yeshiva (and despite his busy schedule), he has graciously accepted the title of Honorary Rosh HaYeshiva of Ruach Chaim. His foresight, oversight and guidance have made Ruach Chaim what it is today.

In Israel since 1999, Rabbi Benayon is a former student of Yeshivat Ohr Baruch (HaRav Gavriel Toledano) and Yeshivat Mir. A musmach of both Rav Yitzchok Berkowitz and Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg, Rabbi Moshe has extensive experience teaching post high school youth and is known for his selflessness and vigorous devotion to his students.

In addition to being a musmach of both Rav Yitzchok Berkowitz and Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg, Rabbi Ari has an additional Rabbinical ordinance from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. Starting his career of leading Jewish youth as the head counselor in Shaarim Day Camp for boys and leading the teenage minyan at Congregation Har Halebanon in New York, Yeshivat Ruach Chaim is the natural result of his passion often revealed in his inspirational speeches: Torah-true growth for the Sephardic community.

Rabbi Amar joins Ruach Chaim as the Mashgiach, he is a highly experienced mechanech with a unique, devoted, and personal approach to each of his many students. He strives to bring out their maximum potential and rejoices as they succeed to fulfill their accomplishments. Rabbi Amar learned 9 years in the Yeshiva Gedolah of Passaic and received his Smicha through the Breuers Kollel, N.Y. After moving to Eretz Yisroel with his family, he has taught in various Post High School Yeshiva Programs which include Ohr Chodosh, Lev Aharon and Yesod Hatorah.

Rabbi Jonathan Tawil grew up in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Israel 10 Years ago.He has been inspiring post high school youth ever since. Rabbi Tawil also known as JT taught in Yeshivat Lev Aharon for many years and is known for his famous Hashkafa classes. His passion for Torah and dynamic personality is contagious and his inspirational classes will affect and guide you through life. JT's shiur doesn’t just end in the classroom, which has led to him building lifelong relationships with all his students.

Rabbi Shalom Adelman grew up in Brooklyn New York under the watchful eye of Rav Avigdor Miller Zatzal. R Shalom has studied in prestigious Yeshivot both in Israel and the U.S.A. He brings to Ruach Chaim many years of experience starting with teaching in Lakewood East, heading the Yesod program of Ohr Sameach, as well as serving as Mashgiach in Yeshivas Shaarei Chayim under the auspices of R Chaim Pinchas Sheinberg Zatzal. During the summer months R Shalom is the learning director in Camp Sdei Chemed. Over the years he has forged deep everlasting relationships while keeping a close connection with his many students.
